Situated on the opposite side of Wrington Road, Kings Wood is a short distance away. There are many routes through the woods – leading, for example, to Goblin Coombe.

The area is very popular with cycling enthusiasts but for family rides The Strawberry line is nearby and highly suitable.

The Crown Inn at Churchill is an old and traditional pub that offers good home-cooked food for lunches.
The Langford Inn and The Plough in Wrington are good choices for evening meals and Thatchers Railway Inn is a good stop-off point on the Strawberry Line cycle trail.
Yeo Valley Canteen in Blagdon is sometimes open to the public for lunch.
A popular stopping off place for cyclists is the Mother Hen Café in Wrington, but you don’t need a bike to enjoy good coffee and snacks!
